About the Facilitator:

Jean Wright holds a Masters degree in Counseling-Psychology; a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education; and has experience working as an elementary classroom teacher.  Since 1979, Jean has maintained an active private therapy practice supporting children, adolescents, and adults, and now works exclusively with adults.   She has also taught graduate level courses in Play Therapy, and has helped establish play therapy components in many regional Head Start programs.  Jean has made three training tours to Australia. Additionally, Jean was selected to present at the International Play Therapy Conference in the Netherlands.  Jean provides training, consultation, and seminars to empower and advocate for more enlightened work with children and adults.  Her long years of work with early developmental issues and decades of focus on mindfulness and meditation deeply inform her current programs for parents, caregivers, and families.
