Montessori in the Home – Parent Education Event

Come join us on Wednesday, October 17, 6:30-8:00pm at the Lake Oswego Campus to learn about the joys of incorporating Montessori ideas into your daily home life.  Increase independence and decrease frustration as you work together with your child to make the home environment more child friendly! 

Our Toddler community Guide, Dani Wood, will be share about opportunities for independence in the bathroom.  Come find out ways to support your child’s self-care needs while supporting order and ease in your environment.  Say “bye bye” to diapers!

Primary guides Ashley, Stacy and Jill will explore topics such as how to organize your home environment so that your child feels included in each area of the house and how to promote independence and participation in daily household activities. We will also discuss ideas relating to organizing your child’s belongings and helping to create an orderly environment in which your child’s development will be fully supported.

Childcare at the Lake Oswego event will be provided for currently enrolled toddler and primary aged children.  The cost is $6 for one child and $9 for two children.
